Volunteer Process
How to Volunteer
- Register for TCEA 2026 and apply to volunteer. When you register, select the Invoice option for payment. Then, sign up to lend your support!
- Watch your email. You’ll be notified that you’re approved to volunteer by email, so keep an eye on your inbox. If you’re approved for two shifts, you’ll get another email showing you owe $0 for your registration. Make sure to save these for future reference!
- Arrive at TCEA 2026. Grab your badge at registration. Then, visit the volunteer booth to verify your volunteer assignment details and pick up some goodies!
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Facilitate attendee entry and assist with scanning attendees into sessions in your room.
- Monitor the room capacity and close the room if the capacity is reached.
- Manage session timing and give the speaker(s) a 5-minute warning before each session ends.
- Wrap-up by clearing out the room at the end of each session.
- Seek assistance and call for support, if needed.
